Freindly and informative welcome provided by the owners, also the high standard of our room and the welcoming guests sitting room all making for a very comfortable stay.
Warm, friendly atmosphere in a lovely location. Very nice with our young grandaughter (7) who was made to feel very welcome.
A fantastic weekend, in a cosy, comfortable place, with lovely hosts, excellent food and a sprinkling of snow.

Whilst roowas very basic, the lounge was lovely, comfortable and stocked with a wide variety of reading material and tourist guides.. The Proprietors were well suited to their role.
Pleasant and attentive proprieter,clean and well looked after.Plenty of local info.

This was a most friendly hotel you could wish to stay in. The rooms werewell furnished and very comfortable, nothing was too much bother for thelandlord and landlady and breakfast was awesome.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The bedroom though small was very comfortable with a beautiful hand made quilt on the bed.
Owners extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable. Some nice touches such as the offer of coffe/tea on arrival, sweets, biscuits and bottled water in the rooms. Excellent freshly cooked breakfasts.
It was a pity that evening meals were not available, but this did not detract from the overall quality experience.
As ever,hotel bed quality:a tip to hotels in general,buy your beds at Ikea.
I was suprised to find that there was no food available other thanbreakfast, (not sure if this info was on the website) with a youngfamily it would have been nicer if they had a restaurant or bar snacksavailable however this did not spoil our stay.
Bedroom and en-suite smallish. No evening meal available at the time.
