  Excellent venue in the countryside which we chose due to its location very close to Luton airport prior to our break in Malta. We only wish we had time to stay and enjoy the hospitality of the hosts ( excellent and extremely welcoming and helpful ) and the lovely surroundings in the countryside. The cottage is isolated, in a panoramic position: you can keep the curtains open without fear for your own privacy! The breakfast is homemade, very good and plentiful, and the breakfast room is very nice, with tables for each group of guests. The local knowledge of the reception staff on arrival and the guidance given by phone, to find the hotel from LUTON AIRPORT was excellent - suprisingly noisy in the room facing the main road although we were a fair distance from the road and the road was only an A road .

  Sopwell House Hotel was a great stay, the room was lovely with a nice en-suite bathroom. The bed was very comfy and we could not fault this stay, which is including the staff who could not do enough for us. The treatments I had here were great, and it was close enough to St. Albans and London so we could venture out.   This place is fantastic! A warm and cosy Traditionally styled Pub/Restaurant. There is ample parking right outside the entrance which we need for our enormous van.
