The bar/restaurant next door is fantastic value for money,we went into Blackpool itself and came back here for drinks but we should have stayed as the food looked gorgeous and plentiful.   This was a small boutique hotel with only 14 rooms. The room was beautifully decorated and all our needs catered for, all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the Chef stayed late to ensure we had a meal on our late arrival.   We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one.   I booked the last available room. It was comfortable, sparkling clean, and just what we wanted for a weekend break. The staff were friendly and helpful, and really nice.
