  Everyone there is extremely friendly and they made me feel very welcomed as soon as I stepped out of the car in the yard. The location is excellent, very close to the summit of Mount Nemrut. It is perfect if you want to watch the sunrise at the top (the major attraction there) and be back for breakfast.   Sahmeran Otantik Pension is located right in Old Mardin, up an alleyway from the main street (Cumhuriyet Caddesi). The cool, cave-like rooms in this old building are a welcome refuge after a hot day's exploring. The staff is excellent; Mehmet Ali, in particular, is a friendly, easy- going guy with wide-ranging interests (photography, pets, Buddhis... 别人怎么说 » m...). My last-minute change in plans were ungrudgingly accommodated despite some loss of commission to letsbookhotel.com. - -Ali is really friendly and speaks english which is very helpful -dormitory available, wich is nice for backpackers and rare in turkey -very authentic feeling to sleep in the stonewall rooms, which are cool even at summertime - the construction works at the stairway are finished and it looks good ;) like the rest of this historic city -I got breakfast after 11 am which they usually don't do, as I was told. Its appreciated! Thanks!
