  We chose this hotel solely for its proximity to the train station, and found that it exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly (even brought us a free cup of tea as we sat out in the garden one afternoon), spoke good English, and helped us communicate with our car rental company as we struggled to get the car turned in on time.   The general manager was extremely helpful and gone out of his way to organize tours for us. His English is excellent. The rest of the staff were also very helpful. The metro station was a stone throw away which was very convenient and the bus station too. There are many eating places around the hotel. Bus even had WIFI, TV and meal - İbis İzmir has a great location just in front of grand station. I went to İzmir for a concert and I stayed there just one night. Concert hall was in walking distance. İzmir İnternational Airport is easy to reach from hotel ıt takes just half an hour by train. Staff was really friendly and helpfull. Children were free of charge.

The first night we didn't get the room with balcony as our reservation. While they helped us to change to another bigger room with balcony immediately the next morning even when we're away and not asking for change again. Which is beyond our expectation. The bus transit stop and Havas stop to airportis are among walking distance .

Our children were able to grab a sandwich before our 5 am departure to the airport.

  I stayed at this hotel for two night. It seemed to hard to get at this hotel from airport, but later I found out that near hotel is menro stantion. To get from metro very easy - about 8 stansion. It is not close to seafront, but near Hotel are a lot of taxi and another transport - to get somewhere not problem.
