I like everything about Samil Hotel: the personal are kind, helpful and friendly. They help me a lot to get my bus ticket to travel to Athens, Greece. The breakfast is great. The room is very clean and confy. It has wonderful bed. The location is great. If you are going to arrive during night time, it would be a good idea to call Samil and request transportation service from the airport because at the airport they charged me 50 dollars or Euros to take me to the hotel. 所有评语 » The staff was very, very friendly without being importunate. When the airport-shuttle did not show up, they arranged and paid for a taxi to the airport. Everything was simple and in no way fancy, but it was spotlessly clean. The location is very central and you can walk to the Galata bridge and the ferry port as well as Hagia Sophia and Sultanachmet mosque in a couple of minutes. Breakfast, again, is simple, but for the price it's enough and you can always find more fancy breakfast places nearb. 1. Best place to whoever looking for budget hotel, close to tourist spots with great hospitality. 2. Very friendly, helpful, honest staffs/receptionist. 3. Kind enough to upgrade my room from double to triple, when he saw i'm with kid.... 4. Served us coffee while we waiting at lobby for taxi to airport. 5. The things I never forget in my life...I left my Galaxy S4 in the lobby and departed to airport...luckily... he called the taxi driver immediately and we returned to get it back... Even though I regret choosing this hotel when I entered as the rating here was quiet decent but it was not upto my expections at all. But one thing that I like or the only thing,about Samil Hotel is the location,all the main attractions are at walking distance which saves time and energy for anyone staying at this hotel. There is nothing wrong with Samil Hotel!. There was a tram line right under my window. I personally didn't find it that annoying but if you have a very light sleep you might mind. - Nothing much....only slightly crowded during breakfast. Room was small but was ok for budget traveller. Staff knows no English. Could not use Visa to pay. Had to go to ATM at last minute to pay. Could not get cleaning staff to not change sheets and towels each day. Internet did not work most of time. We are a couple, and we put in a triple room (single beds) because there "were no other rooms". Fairly sure it was because we are two dudes. Room didn't have a fridge. Fairly loud. The breakfast was pretty awful, had to skip it a couple of times.
