This is great value accommodation, in an authentic part of the city, close to many attractions yet sufficiently removed from the tourist bubble. Staff were friendly and helpful, even if we had to communicate in sign language ;-) The owner speaks English, is educated, open and particularly hospitable and welcoming. I'd definitely return. This is a clean, friendly, simple, and true value for money hotel. The staff really go out of their way to help. There are many locals shops and restaurants with good food. Easy walk to Eminonu for good tram, bus and ferry connections, plus only a 10 minute walk to Suleymaniye/Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar.
所有评语 » everything is new in the Hotel. the place is calm because the street is too small for cars and there all activities are done in the late evening - for Istanbul an exception! The area is very local and you see the real life of the city. There's amazing staff, friendly and helpfull. I really like the owner of Kral Mert Hotel, he is honest man and he helped me a lot. Hotel is near Galata Bridge, Egyptian Bazaar, tram station and Ferry terminal Eminonu. Must meet Ibrahim,the owner of the hotel who would not mind serving you breakfast and evening coffee at times, very gentleman person who will take care of you like a personal guest. The hotel is located in a not touristy area in walking distance to the main attractions (20 min) and to the ferry harbour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very near to the touristic places and the sea , the orient feeling around hotel. Excelent staff, the best. Very good people. Not luxurious but more than enought if you just wish for a place to sleep. Small room but with private bathroom (which was in very good conditions). Staff very nice and help fulll (within their limits). i like the staff so much they were friendly and helpful . the old man was cheerful and always trying to help us . Also breakfast was good . Room was ok, small but fine for single person. shower was clean and room was kept clean. Staff tried to be as friendly as they could and keep clean as possible. small room. the staff were nice. the area is also a bit tun down. one has to like or accept it. It's a big far from tramway. It could get noisy. Room very small and cumbersome. The only thing is that the staff people didn't speak english. first , i didn't like the place of the hotel as it was very noisy and crowded . second , rooms were very very small in a way that you cannot put your luggage . third wifi was very poor upstairs inside the rooms. . Terrible Location, would not have wanted to walk about at night. seemed to be a very Rough Area, definate no go for single woman. At check-in I had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to appear, no elevator, room so small you could barely move, bad neighborhood, cleaning lady really insisted on tipping. some pies. the room was cramped, very cramped.
