  Hotel and staff is nice. The rooms are small but with aircon and a small fridge. For a night or 2, it is very good. Also located at 5mn walking distance from the main street with restaurants.   The location is fabulous on the hillside and overlooking the city. It's a very easy 5 minute walk down the cobble stone road to all you need.   The location in Ayvalik could not be better. The building in which the hotel is situated is beautiful and its setting in the back lanes of the old town is lovely. The staff do their best to help you, although very few visitors to Ayvalik come from outside Turkey.   The hostel was beautifully restored, it was a pleasure to eat the excellent breakfast in the gorgeous garden. Unlimited tea and coffee served at no extra charge and no charges made for laundry. The staff although not speaking much english were so helpful and accommodating it was a pleasure to stay there.
