  We stayed at mai pen rai for 3 nights, we didn't know what to expect to be honest but the more time we spend there the more we enjoyed! Starting with the food which is to die for (any dish), goin thought staff member which are very friendly to the place itself/location. No shops around which makes it ideal for a complete relaxation. Compared to the rest of the island this is the least developed beach, but it is great for swimming, walking, eating and relaxing.   Amazing place!! At the north of the island which is argubly the most beautiful part. Set on the beach is such a great place to relax and unwind. Staff were friendly, restaurant sold mixture of food and the bar a great selection of cocktails. And is far nicer being out of haad rin after the full moon ( there beach is trashed and no where to relax). Local area thong n - Spectacular location. We've been travelling for 1 month in the South of Thailand doing Island hopping and this beach is by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL ever! The bungalows are spacious and clean and a good price for where it is. The veranda was a nice touch. Food at the restuarant is also yummy and nicely lit by night. This location is just AMAZING !!!! Don't miss it!

  Our room was big and clean and very comfortable. At our arrival at Koh Phangan pier there was the hotel shuttle bas waiting for us without we requested it and it was a good surprise. The position of the hotel is outstanting, between two of the most beautiful beaches of the island.   My fiancee and I stayed at burirasa for 5 nights, after a more-than-1-day- long trip. We used the transfer they organize from the Samui airport to the beach of the Buri Rasa. It costs pretty much twice the standard (1500 THB/pax), but it is worth!! Take a bus, then a speedboat, then get the room. Great.
