  Excellent bungalow very much in beach front. We did take family bungalow because it was nearest from beach, allthough we traveled with two of us. But it was in good price range and absolutely worth that price! Restaurant had very good food (best in the beach) and BBQ every night (also, excellent food!). Wifi was working well enoug - We totally loved our stay here at haad salad, the staff are amazing especially the English chap who makes sure all runs smoothly and done all he could to help us there, before we went we read on the reviews how far away from haad rin it was, it didn't stop us booking there and I'm glad I ignored those reviews, we jumped a taxi bus for 150 baht to take us in and paid 200 to get back, we hired a scooter from haad salad villa and I strongly advice any traveler to do this also, at 200 a day it will

We have both been to Thailand before (Samui, Phuket, Bangkok, Pangan) and picked Pangan simply because it was on route (we flew from Europe to Bangkok to Suratthani and then kept going to Australia) and we were on a fairly tight budget. What they don't advertise are their great staff who make you feel very welcome and relaxed from the moment you arrive, Raymond (50 Baht) and (Prince) William in paticular will get you food, drink and may even sing a song or two.   The staff were great, and answered any questions I had via e-mail in a matter of minutes. They can arrange to pick you up at the pier, laundry and scooter rental. Good place to get away from the action of Haat Rin and take in some of the nicer beaches on the northwest side of the island.
