  The hotel is in a great location - not far from beach and very close to crazy Bangla road! If you are after a quiet place to stay, this might not be for you.   We stayed here for just a night so we can't really comment much on the facilities - we were enroute to Phi Phi Island, but we absolutely loved the stay. Patong Beach is a 5 min walk. Bangla Street is right outside and the nightlife is almost at your doorstep but don't worry, Novotel is very quiet; you'll sleep like a baby. We were given amazing day trip deals, our food was delicious (especially our Thai dishes) and the location of the breakfast bar (on the beach) was perfect!   We stayed in a twin-bed at the main wing. Each of the beds was big enough for a 10-year to share comfortably with a parent. Would recommend. - We thought this hotel was excellent value for the amount we paid and the staff were excellent when we required any assistance. We are plus sixties and found the hotel was used for a lot of young tours but we did not find this a problem as all the young people were well behaved and interesting which was very refreshing .   The pool was awesome, the swim up bar was absolutely fabulous and breakfast was delicious. It catered for everybody's needs. Every room was great. We stayed in just a standard room, but we had a great view of the pool. The place felt like home.   This hotel is a personal favourite of mine in Patong Beach. A series of bungelows and rooms nestled in a tropical garden setting, surrounded by lush greenery and very pretty lotus trees. The bungelows are very comfortable and spacious with large bathrooms.The hotel is only meters from the beach, shopping, restaurants and bars.
