  The hotel is beautiful, and staff top notch. The attention to detail and special touches at every turn were outstanding. The pillows and bed were the most comfortable I have slept on in Thailand, I was ill for a day upon arrival,and spent the better part of a day in bed. You cannot believe how they pampered me. Situated directly at a very nice and calm beach in a hotel area, you can really enjoy your holidays. The rooms were clean as well as the common areas and the pool. The restaurant offers good food. Moreover it's not far to the town, 15mins walk along the beach brings you to the night market, the shopping area, restaurants and bars. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

  The location of Lamai Inn is excellent, right next to the beach and close to shops and bars. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although the beach was clean and very beautiful we spent a lot of our time in the pool which was well maintained. We went at the beginning of the rainy season so had a few storms. After a few busy weeks visiting Bangkok, Vietnam and Cambodia this was a lovely pla - nice clean bungalows, we had a double room which is smaller; and a triple room which is big and recently furbished - looks brandnew; the beds are softly firm. We all had good sleep there. Location is great, 1 minute's walk to the beach, and 5-10 minutes walk to the town center (shopping/food/drink area); They have own power supply so we had electricity supply in our rooms even the whole southern Thailand had a big blackout on one night during our stay.   The staff was very polite. When I arrived my room had an unusual odor. They changed my room right away without question. I had a very nice 4th floor with spectacular views. Tor at the poolside bar/restaurant was always so friendly and informative. there was always a smile along with most of the other staff. If I needed anything it was a phone call... 别人怎么说 » away. The gym was ok', at least for a treadmill, a bike and an elliptical. Great supply of free weights. - Good location, away from the hustle n bustle of Chaweng, yet near to the other nature hotspots.   The staff were really friendly and helpful. We liked the room very much - spacious, giving a warm feeling, equipped with AC (which is really needed).   This place is awesome, we stayed at a number of resorts are Koh Samui (including The Library which is 5* design hotel) and the Beach Republic is definitely up there. Super quick check in, got upgraded to a suite which was really nice and spacious and then last night was upgraded again to a private pool villa, so much fun having your own pool. Other reviews have said the food is expensive, but when you see what you get - We were supposed to stay only for 2 nights, but ended up staying there for 6. The villa is amazing, the private pool, lounge area, kitchen it was all great. It really gives you the island feeling. The staff were exceptional alway ready to help. The beach club was great too, and the food at their restaurant was also very good.the house keeping even remember which of the bed you sleep on. I highly recommend this place. It added so much to our trip.
