This place was by far my best guesthouse this trip, maybe ever. It was squeaky clean, with well arranged rooms and lots of electic outlets to charge my gadgets. The staff was as helpful as their somewhat limited English would' allow, even telling me of an important change in the immigration office in Chiang Kong where I was headed. A couple of small things: the restaurant across the street provided a tasty, quickmeal when I arrived late and didn't want to go out again alone in the dark, and I l.
所有评语 » Excellent place to stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. After traveling over 20 hours they were kind enough to get me something to eat. The entire place is spotless. Included in my room was fridge, air con, cable, bottled water, king bed. There is free breakfast daily which included a soup or noodle dish. Free and available 24/7 is coffee and tea. They are very organized and gave me a map of the surrounding area. There are tour books which they will book and its reasonably priced. I took . We initially only booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 4. The staff were excellent, the breakfast always fresh, with lots of varied fruit. The room was cleaned and prepared to a very high standard. Ideally located, handy for everywhere yet so quiet on a night. It was well worth the money we paid. Really unsure where the people stayed who have previously left negative feedback, as we have nothing but praise for this little Chiang Rai jewel. The rooms were very nice especially for this cheap price we did not expect it like this. The stuff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good, easy but everything you need. Coffee, tea and bananas all day long. We told them that we need to go to Chiang Khong and they organized a minivan which was even cheaper than the bus (the driver just came from there and needed to go back anyways - so it was a win-win- situation). The location was ideal - close to the bus station, night bazaar, restaurants. Staff were interested, friendly and helpful. One of the staff gave us tips on where to go and what to see in Lao. The room was just the right size for a couple on a short stay - not too small. Internet worked well and was fast. Bathroom was modern, large and clean. The outdoor setting made having breakfast or a drink outside all te more enjoyable. We liked everything here, it is a lovely small cosy guest-house with very nice and helpful staff. You can get free coffee and tea all day and there is even a free breakfast in the morning! Rooms are nice and clean, the room with the single beds was bigger so we had that one. Location is close to the golden tower. Definately visit the white temple, it is crazy and awesome. Book this place!. This guesthouse is simply amazing. the room was spacious, clean, well equipped and a lot better than many hotels we've booked during our trip in so many ways. The staff was so nice and did everything to make us happy. And plus, the best location you can ask for, very quiet but still, five minutes walk from the night market and the city center. Great value for money. This is a family run place and nothing is too much trouble for them. The 'uncle' will take you for a private trip should you wish, which can be tailored to suit you. There is a free coffee machine on the go and adequate complimentary breakfast. It is well located for the night markets and center.Good value for money. Great rooms, very nice bathrooms. Clean place to stay in a calm although central position in town. Our room with A/C was comfortable and the shower had more space than any other accomodation (of the same level) we have had in our South East Asia trip. The hostess speaks very fluent English. She showed me where to go around and buy fresh local food. The room is clean with very nice environment. Free drink and fruit even the room charge does not include breakfast. There was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere at be hotel. When I was there it rained in the evening so went across the road to eat. Food was fine but don't be surprised if you get invited to sing karaoke!. Very nice people helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable. but not luxurious but great value for the price. Very close to the night bazar and center of town. -The cleanliness of the rooms and environment - free tea and coffee all-day - clean environment - cozy and homey feel like guest house - staff really helpful even though they can't speak fluent English. It was close to shops and restaurants. All the staff were friendly and obliging.They gave me a free afternoon tour to the White Temple and the Black Temple and refused remuneration. All staffs are very friendly and passionate. The rooms and breakfasts were so excellent that even out of our expectation. It's quite worthy and convenient to stay in this hotel. Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. Complimentary coffee tea banana and in the morning toast with jam, something asian and fresh fruit and orange juice. It was just about perfect for our needs. We just found the stairs very narrow on the tread but this has been our experience in most Thailand guest houses. All in all, a decent place. The room was attractive. Staff was very friendly. Internet worked in the room. It's a 5 min walk to one of the main streets. Great location, close to the center, the bus station, the clock tower and the night market. There was a bit of an insect problem so you may be better to get a room upstairs. The only down side, and really not very important... Was that the nice big lcd televisions did not have cable. Just standard Thai tv and only about 6 channels. So nothing to watch in English for those few moments escaping the heat and lazing on the big bed in the cool air-con air. The beds were pretty hard, but it was ok. If we have to say something... it was hard to spot the small step just going out of our room. Not really problem, just a tricky bit to pay attention to. No hair dryer. The taxi cost called by the hostess and drives by her uncle is a lit bit high. Breakfast was a bit basic for Thailand but basically ok. Twin room small. No table little room for suitcases. Very good for backpackers though. The only small drawback was the hardness of the mattress.It was of course preferable to mattress that is too soft. Everything was great!. Room was small, typical hard bed, view was on an unattractive place that looked like a chicken farm. Fridge was full of last occupant's stuff. Our room were small but it was quite enough as we were always outside. If just to suggest one....No slipper. Some late night dog barking Shower temperature never really got above tepid. Orange juice for breakfast could be a real one, or chosen from another fruit, there are so many :). The wardrobe door didn't close. The bathroom mirror was at belly height. The breakfast is nothing more than the obligatory white toast, jam and instant coffee. Maybe not the breakfast. I had lots of toasts and jam.. Because that was all there was to choose from. Better than nothing though!. Not good English. The laundry service....!. Maybe, a little bit more expensive than other alternatives. They can improve breakfast offered. No English speaking tv channels!. Wifi didn't work... There is not staff in the reception during the night. breakfast is kind of poor. Rock hard beds!. Staff barely can speak english, but this is pretty common in all Thailand and Cambodia. The room we got was like a cave with no natural light (the window- if it can be called that way- was a very small opening towards the terrace). Mattress was rock solid (it felt like sleeping on a wooden floor). They charge 20 bahts for calling a taxi. Poor breakfast with not many choices, no milk, instant coffee. Music (karaoke?) could be heard till late in the night. Noises from the terrace and cigarette smoke came in the room. Don't book in this guesthouse!!! Unbearable smell of damp (I had a cough the day after), glass entrance door without curtain (everyone can see inside the room and you wake up by sunrise) and dishonest guide (he asked us 1.500 bath while another couple paid 700 bath, the guide asked the couple not to tell us the real price of the tour).
