The best hotel I've been in Thailand. Super friendly staff, the receptionist even did for me a dessert and spent the night with me talking at the bar. Really friendly guesthouse. They didnt have the room I reserved so they gave me a bigger room instead for the same price. The food in the restaurant just under the hotel incredible really good. The place is three steps close to the beach! I recommend it 100% (it is cheap an beautiful).
所有评语 » I really loved the design and atmosphere of this place. My room was small but very clean and cozy, bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. Beach was just 100 m away, and it's a good part of beach, as there are not many people at all. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. I found the general atmosphere of the place and layout of room a lot 'friendlier' and more cheerful than the place I had just come from. Staff helpful. very comfortable accomodation at a very good place close to the ocean and I would really like to say a thank you ro a very kind staff that works there. Value for money was good Location was good enough Room was ok but great for the price very comfortable. great decor really funky and comfortable bed. Close enough to the Main Street but quiet at night. 5 minute walk to the beach. Good value. Ideal for travellers/budget. Each rooms had interesting decor. Books and DVDs were available. Decent room for the price. Bed was very comfortable. Guesthouse was well situated close to the beach and restaurants. Location was Ok. 550B was the reason we took it. Friendly stuff. Tv, dvd. Small details about decoration Bed is big and linen are clean There is a DVD player and many films to choose. There is a fridge in the room. Near the beach 5mins walking . The air conditioning wasn't really good but it worked nothing that really bothered me. It was a little far from center, about 10 mins by car, but that was OK for me. 10.30 is a little too early for check-out. The owner of this place is very nice, but the rest of the staff looked like they don't care at all. They definitely wouldn't go out of their way to help you, like I had to carry my bag by myself all the way to my room. The butter that comes with the breakfast is very low quality margarine, it doesn't melt and leaves a terrible aftertaste. Noise! The rooms are close together and not very soundproof so I was constantly woken by people returning home at all hours of the night, BUT it was a saturday and it is a budget hotel after all... Water leaked through the aircon and created a puddle. check out time of 10.30 was way too early, 11.30-12 i would consider more apt. Staff not overly friendly. Hole in the ceiling to which you could see outside. Cigarette burns on furniture. Loose fixtures and fittings. Lots of Mosquitos in our room but we couldn't figure out how they kept coming in. Internet wasn't working. Breakfast was not included. For the first 2 days of our stay we had no hot water and water pressure non existent. Fortunately for Martin who works at Akwa he came to the rescue and problem was sorted out for our last days stay. This is a guest house and the rooms are small and the stairs are steep, very steep. Toilet was smelling. Stuff doesn't speak English at all. Check out at 10:30 ! room was very old, same regarding the sheets, towels. This is an unsafe place in the sense that anybody can go inside the guesthouse because there is no reception (check in must be done in the Akwa restaurant, about 100m). At night some rooms have loud music and party because no staff at the building. Aldo the decoration is how it looks on the pictures, the place and the rooms look uncare, not really clean, as abandoned. Toilets are old and very basic. The only staff you can find them just in the morning time and they don't speak english. The economic rooms are in Small basic Guest house in dirty Soi .Nice value for single routard trip only.Far from city center 2km. Worst nights sleep ever! Throughout the night we heard the loudest banging on an outside door to the block of rooms we were in as no one had a key! It doesn't feel like a safe area. And when we spoke to someone in the morning she just laughed and said our room!?.
