  As a hotelier myself I loved everything about St Regis Bangkok, Architectural interior details exceptional, design, spa, pool (although a bit small) comfort, location, has direct excess to the sky-train. Italian restaurant at ground floor looks great but did not get a change to eat hopefully next time.. We chose the Horizon Club and appreciated the extra benefits it offered. This includes a top 3 floor position and view of the river, and all day snacks and non alcoholic and the happy hour each night. It is placed in the luxury price bracket, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is right next to Skytrain station but you can walk to the main shopping area around Siam Paragon, Bumungrad hospital or Sukhumvit road.   The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The hotel is only a five minuite walk from the skytrain and 10 minuite walk from the main shops.   This hotel is absolutely beautifull, the room was big and had everything in it, good coffee maker, books, television's very nice bathroom a nice balcony.   We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip, normally we stay across the road at the Villa Cha Cha. My son has stayed at the Green House on numerous occasions and told me that it was a place that I really wouldn't choose to stay, but I thought give it a go!! It has lovely rooms that are really cheap and the food is great! If Khao San road is where you want to be then I would recommend this hotel over any other. 10/10 for me because the staff are nice, the rooms are nice and the food is great and really cheap :)
