Baan Sukhumvit 18 is in a great location. It's 5 minutes walk from Asok BTS station which is very central. We got a Thai Sim from the airport (200 bhat for free data for 7 days & 100 bhat credit) so finding the hotel with Google maps was easy. The staff here are absolutely lovely, very warm & friendly. They gave us advice on how to get to destinations we asked about and had tour info. This is a great spot with wifi and air con in all the rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
所有评语 » The location is excellent having good access to Asoke Skytrain and MRT. From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with a friendly smile. The room although not huge was large enough for our five night stay with modern facilities and a well equipped modern bathroom. We were on the fourth floor with absolutely no street noise whatsoever. Price isn't too bad if you take into account the location. I would stay there again. Problem with recomendation places you love is that next time you can find that all rooms are soldout. Since we don't plan go to Bangkok in foreseable future I with open heart can say: this is best place in Bangkok we stayed at this moment. Staff is great, beautifull rooms and very friendly atmosfere. Thank you very much for everything. The room was clean and comfortable and the stuff was really helpful and nice. They were always there, when you needed something. Also air train station, Asok, was right next to it so it was easy to go around Bangkok. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The manager Mr. Singha provides excellent personalized service. Location is close to the Skytrain and MRT station, which makes it very convenient to move around Bangkok. Place is very quiet. Overall the staff is friendly. the location just 5-7minute walk from BTS and Terminal 21, lot of restaurant around there, service is pretty good, the owner is very friendly and helpful, good environment. definitely one of the best hotel at their level. I liked the size of the hotel as it is small. Located in a quite Soi away from traffic. The air conditioning in our room is a bit noisy. A second layer of translucent curtain for daytime should be added instead of just one blackout curtain. The exterior lighting of Baan Inn is too dim and there is not enough signage to lead us to the inn which is located at a secluded dead-end alley. you have to look at the alley to find it, but people around there know this hotel, so not much problem. There is not much to like except the unreliable hot showers. This is common in Bangkok. Street - When you enter for the first time it's hard to belive that at the end of short and not turistic looking street is this hotel. When you rich this it's very nice. Breakfast pack - when we left earlier around 5am we did not get any breakfast pack although breakfast is included in price. Nothing. The aircon could have worked a bit better, I think it would just need a service. TV set in room was old. Neighbourhood surroundings can be a turnoff for a newcomer. Bed a little bit hard, breakfast start at 8am. During the day cannot keep open the curtains as our windows was in front of other building. Not easy to find the way to hotel at the first time because the sign is quite small. And the way to hotel is quite dark. Its a house that has been converted into a guesthouse so could be a little noisy depending on whom you get as your neighbour. I like a soft mattress, but I don't think you will get a soft one in Thailand. A/C broke in the middle of the night. location. No Pool. The view is facing opposite building at short distance so the curtain has to be closed always. The taxi failed to find the hostel and it took me totally 20 minutes to find it. Breakfast is just ok. Very hard bed. The staff is not helpful even when they see you carry luggage they don't help you and say not enough staff and calling for taxi they say sorry no taxi coming you have to call them by yourself..This is not fit to be a hotel I will never come back again...tks..sam tan boon hoong..stay there from 19-24nov,2013.
