The guy who checked us in was very kind and friendly and anticipated our questions and needs at a busy time. The breakfast room is fresh and clean and has lots of light and lake views. The food selection is perfect. Fortunately, the staff member who checked us in was courteous and very helpful. The garden room was a comfortable size, clean, modern and just right for a two night stay when we were out with friends all day.

The staff treatment, very nice. Owner+staff are very friendly and helpful! . The rooms were clean and the furnishings were nice. We arrived early and the member of staff we saw did not greet us - just said that we could not check-in until 2pm. It was unnecessarily abrupt and rude. A little bit far from the centre, but public transport solves the problem. It was a good 10 - 15 minute walk into town Our "Lake view" room was very misleading as any view was blocked by the trees close to the window. Little bit removed from town, would recommend a car if staying here. Bit out of the way. Not ideal work station for business travelers. Restaurant was closed. The restaurant next to the hotel. We arrived 10 min before 21:30 and they did not even allow us to order a quick meal while in the hotel directions it was said we could until 21:30. It was not nice at all to have to walk downtown late in the night to have dinner. Very negative impression.The lake view rooms should rather be called lake side rooms since we could not really see the lake. (But at nights it's anyway dark.). - The rooms were extremly small - The 'mountain view' room should be renamed the 'freeway view' room. I would not stay here again unless I got a second floor room on the lake view side. The mountain side was extremly noisy on the road. The first floor 'lakeview room' was more a 'back hedge' view room. - The place was very expensive and had a very poor location for a overnight trip to vevey. The owner is very rude. When we called because we were locked out (forgotten room key), she cursed at us in french and hung up the phone. She did let us in, but not before yelling more curse words at us.
