  The hotel staff was very helpful, they picked us from the train station and gave us rides to town on a few days.   Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We were met at the train station by Suzanne, owner, and taken to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very happy people. Peter, owner, Monika & Tanja were always willing to help and always ready for a chat. Peter introduced us to the town and welcomed us personally to the hotel with free pre-dinner drin... 别人怎么说 » ks. They always made us welcome. The hotel is set in the valley between magnificient mountain views. The town is quiet and calming. So much to do - If in Engelberg, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not only for the warmth shown by the owners (Kuhn family), its a kids friendly hotel. It is less than 10 mins walk from the station, but with luggage it is not possible to walk (steep roads).... the staff is ever ready to escort to / from the station in their vans (they just need to be informed). A nice view from the balconies + the church bell sound every hour, gives a superb feeling............

I am sure all the staff are good but most of my dealings happened to be with Heidi, she was friendly and professional, gave us correct information and was helpful with any of our needs; she has a charming personality. The jacuzzi is proba - Young reception and breakfast staff were so lovely. We were on the top floor in a lovely timber-lined room and we could hear cow bells from the balcony. Views of the mountains. Lift only went to the floor below so we had to climb a set of stairs with suitcases to get to the room. Free parking at the back of the hotel was great. My husband and daughter went up the cable car to the top of the mountain.
