  We loved our room and our stay, especially the view over the foreshores and the lake. The reception staff were ever so helpful and keen to assist with any problems. They were vivacious, but at the same time very professional. The tour desk staff were also the same, pointing us in the right direction.   The hotel facilities and staff were wonderful especially for a romantic getaway for two. The hotel was not too far from the main train station so it was in a convienent location in the center of the action. While the price was expensive by US standards, it was reasonable for Lucrern and Europe in general.   We spent to nights at the hotel while in Lucern and had a brillianttime. Staff was very caring, room (the cheapest one) was on the 5thfloor with nice view over the city.   I've stayed at five star hotels that dont do what this lovely charming hotel do, made me feel special and cared for from the first hello.
