I like the hotel staff's service the most. They are so welcoming and friendly. They can speak very fluent English and very helpful to recommend some local food. One of the hotel staff even called for us to look for the restaurant which serve the local food "Rosti" that we looking for.Superb rooftop room with balcony at a great price. Easy walk from the rail station. Flat screen TV with DVD player in room. Pleasant staff and a quality pizzeria on site.

It is at the central scenic place and ease to move around. Security system is tight and feel very safe.Nice friendly staff,excellent breakfast,good location, nice bathroom.Comfort - room decor. Location in the 'old town' is excellent, mostly quiet (except for 3 churches tolling the hour (and one the quarter hour), also during the night; internet access is 'free'; breakfast adequate (but extra).The location is in the old town, you can find all the sight-seeing around you!. kind staff, good location. The location was brilliant right by the river and the old town and very handy for the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant our first night and we would definitely recommend it to others. You need to reserve a table as it gets very busy.Location in the middle of the old town, close to the river. Comfortable room with jacuzzi (suite).in the old town of lucerne...The room category (Double room Superior) was excellent, lovely design and new renovation concept, fantastic balcony, an excellent choice for couple whom prefer 2 smoke. Real appreciation for the compliments of free wireless internet, fruit baskets and coffee making utilities.The package includes breakfast buffet which is value for money. Location within shopping area, 10 mins walk from railway station. We arrived early at 10:30 and the staff granted us early check-in which was great.Very central, clean, comfortable. Good location. It would be good if the hotel could negotiate a discount for their clients......it was shame that whenever we need a lift, there was always hotel staff insdie. (e.g. cleaning ladies..etc) And, the room was too dry.We chose the hotel because they provided tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms but there was no milk. Breakfast was served between 7.00 and 10.00 but when we went down after 9.00 there was no hot food left on the buffet, however, the croissants were delicious!. Little space in shower due to slanted roof. Crazy electrics in room (switches of lights and electric fan seem to be connected).some street noise. Price was really the only slight concern. It would be nice to see the breakfast included in the price given; otherwise excellent experience.The pillows and the beds were too soft.Provide more information in the room about services such as WiFi. A good hotel with reasonable facilities and friendly staff. Good to stay at for a couple. Staff were not at all fiendly. The lack of television programs in English.The room was very small.... and no lift to the 5th floor. I like this hotel but they advertise that rooms have DVD players but in my experience they seldom work. On my last stay I had two different rooms and the DVD players didn't work in either of them.

The owner-run adults only hotel Zum Weissen Kreuz is located near the Reuss River in Lucerne’s historic Old Town, just a 2-minute walk from the Chapel Bridge and a 5-minute walk from the train station. It offers free high-speed WiFi in the entire property. The modern and elegant rooms all have a flat-screen TV with 300 international satellite channels, a minibar, high-quality parquet floors, and a free Nespresso coffee machine. The restaurant at Hotel Zum Weissen Kreuz serves classic Italian cuisine and features a summer terrace. Guests get a 10% discount for the on-site restaurant, as well as for the Restaurant Rathaus Brauerei. Parking spaces are available for a surcharge at the train station Lucerne.
