Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was spacious. Clean room. It was cheap and Lucerne is an expensive city.clean room, easy reach city center if you now the directions. Good location, comfortable beds, slept well despite being next to railway line.Nothing.....I will not recommmend this Hotel..... The lady handling the restaurant - Cristina. No Internet access. Sink and hair dryer were in the bedroom, seperate from the toilet and shower. Very small bathroom. Flat pillows. Could be a bit noisy at night due to street noises. Check in is only from 3pm to 6 pm. Front desk is closed outside those hours. It advertises itself as a Hotel-Restaurant, which led us to expect therewould be dinner available. There is no dinner, and the breakfast is verybasic and unsatisfactory.poor breakfast, no directions on the website about traveling. Its not far from center. You need to take bus N 4 and get off the stop Steghof, but I didn t know this and it was hard for me to find. Hotel was shut when I arrived at 1pm. Apparently they have a break between 12 till 3 pm. You need to call on special mobile number which is on the door for them to turn up. It s quiet noisy as well. General standard not really up to 3-star, so a bit disappointing.Very noisy as our room overlooked the railway line and railway crossing. Furnishings were very old and tatty. The wardrobe door was held shut by the chair. In need of renovation! Breakfast was poor. The bed sheets were not changed once during our 5 night stay - This is disgusting. There towels were changed only on the 3rd day that too only after we complained, however the old towels were just left in the room. Even after complaining the bed sheets were not changed on the 4th day. There is no a/c in the room. The hotel is next to the railway track and at night it gets very noisy.
