Very helpfull personnel, willing to make changes 2 days before arrival. They prepared breakast in a pack for us in the evening as we had to leave very early. The buidings are in a quiet complex with no traffic, and lots of trees. In front is a broad sea channel with molos where you can watch ships. Rooms very clean, nice, and spacy. Free parking. Free breakfast. Free Internet (one device only). Location by the water is beautiful. The restaurant is very good although menu is bit limited. Great (huge) shrimp sandwich!.
所有评语 » I loved the place it was located. Very relaxing and beautiful. The room was clean and the staff were polite and Nice. Comfortable beds and nice view of the sea from the window. The single room with shared bathroom was very luxurious and well-priced. There was even a fully equipped kitchen in the common area. I would certainly recommend this option. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I arrived late and the staff were helpful and left instructions and my key for me to pick up on arrival. Breakfast was good. Very nice location close to the Gothenburg harbour with an excellent view. Nice rooms with good facilties. Very good breakfast and helpfull staff. Harbour setting with port views. Clean rooms. Nice location, though outside the city and to reach by walking for about 15 minutes after getting off the tram. Nicely located in a beutifull sourrunding directly at the waterfront. The rooms were clean and nice. - athmosphere - breakfast. Great venue. Very picturesque if you like the sea. It takes some time to get to the hotel from the center, first you need use tram for about 20mins and then walk. Its 1,2km from the tram staion, unless i missed something, anyway. But then again, its a pleasant walk through a park. Breakfast ends at 9:00 am Mon-Fri - very unfriendly for vacationers. It is extended to 10:00 am on Sat-Sun only. Rooms are tiny although best use of space is made using split level flooring. Note that rooms are cleaned only once a week - towels are replaced every other day. We could not havs our breakfast sent our room. Furthermore, adding a microwave to the room would be just perfect!. The receptionist was late, which meant I could not check out at the desired time. The toilett was not clean. You have to leave the room already at 10.00 o clock but the room was no avaibale before 15.00. Could not find any place to sit at breakfast. The breakfast close very early. It is not very close to the city. I walked, but that took me a wile. If you want to get out in the evening, you shouldn't stay here... it was a little hard to find. Difficult to find if you are not on gps and far from town. Car is a must. We were promised a room with view of the Kategat and sea, but we could hardly see the sea from the room. The view was blocked by a service house and a parking place. hard to find, unless you use a cab at first. We went on the wrong tram, and had to walk for a while. Gym and other facilities not there. Bathroom was really cold (stayed in July). The way to Nya Varvet Studios could have been better indicated. Confusing to find through Google maps. It's too far away! you have to drag your luggage for 20 min to get there. and that's not so convenient. It was a bit far away and the actuall hotell felt like a military school or something that had been converted to a hotell on the outside. The inside was fine, looked like a normal hotell room with showers, tv etc. My room was far away from the reception/main building, that means I had to walk ousite to eat breakfast every morning: ok if you are on vacation, not very confortable if you are on a business trip and are in haste... - breakfast served only till 9 am sharp, not holiday friendly! -rooms not cleaned daily. - Beds not made and garbage not removed for the 3 nights we were there. Advertised with free internet: this was with only one access code per room included in the price- we have 2 smartphones and 2computers which we were unable to use because of this--a hotel in this price catagory should at the least have free internet.the rooms should also have small comfortable chairs to sit on instead of the wooden chairs provided. distance from centre. internet issues. I had a room in two levels, not so bad but had preferred one level. Distance to rooms. Quite far from the center of Gothenburg. The tram stop is a 20 minute walk and it takes 20 minutes to get into town. The room didn't meet the expectations as two sleeping rooms turned out to be one bedroom and the couch or foldaway bed in the other room. minimalistic ikea design and check out till 10, breakfast till 9 during the week. :-(. It was extremely noisy. It is not clearly stated in hotel description that it consists of different buildings some of them quite far from main building. You have to move to main building for breakfast. - bathrooms not clean - staff really not friendly. Geared towards guests with their own transport. Not good if you rely on public transport as nearest bus/tram is 1.5km walk.
