El Cortijo Zamalea is a collection of villas set in Huelva’s Sierra de Aracena foothills. It has a large garden with an African-style pavilion, outdoor pool and paddle tennis court.
The air-conditioned villas at El Cortijo are decorated in cheerful colours and a mix of rural and African design. Each one has a well-equipped kitchen and a furnished veranda. Villas also have a lounge with TV and a fireplace. One free basket of firewood is provided.
There are communal barbecues on the Cortijo Zamalea’s shady terrace. The gardens contain fountains, and are surrounded by fruit trees and farmland.
The Sierra de Aracena Mountains are popular for hiking and cycling. The Cortijo can also arrange horse riding excursions. The beaches of the Costa de la Luz are 60 km away, while the UNESCO-protected Doñana National Park is 80 km away.
