The staff were so pleasant and did everything to make our stay memorable. Rooms were spotless and were very well located to explore castle and old town. Stella, the owner was particularly delightful and so helpful. Having an english speaker really helped us enjoy the place.
The lady owner (Stella) was brilliant, very helpful and informative. The rooms are stylish in a modern way and comfortable; location is great for seeing Xativa. Highly recommended. Great restaurant was recommended by the owner and worth a visit.

We loved the simplicity and Stella's attention to ensuring we had everything we wanted from guidance around the town, suggestions of places to see and eat in; and we had the best Spanish breakfast ever. Truly Spanish. Loved it.
The owner is delightful and helpful. Speaks Spanish and English at least. Enjoyed our 4 nights there. El castele is magnifico.
Loved the location. Close to restaurants and bars. Absolutely lovely staff, friendly and gave great recommendations.

Difficult to find.
parking may be difficult.
Google maps one way system & reality to do quite match up, so that was tricky and not Maga Rooms fault. So, we phoned Stella & she came & found us (we were all of 50m from the Maga Rooms ) and also found us parking; so all was well.
Some maps have different street names to what is real. Booking .com has wrong street name in spite of being told the real one. In hostal, the minor missing items are hooks other than coathangers in cupboards. The two chairs in apartment were the most uncomfortable ever seen. Xátiva is a very hot place in Summer. No long distance buses, eg.,only train to Valencia.
Shower was upstairs and toilet downstairs.
Rooms are not especially practical. If driving, very important to get parking advice in advance.
We did not like the open plan bathroom/bedroom. No door for privacy. Concrete walls & floor. Difficult to find and very narrow streets. Parking limited and risky.
