  Loved it full stop.Belen is just such a delightful lady- nothing was any trouble. We had some poor weather whilst we were there and the room with its small self catering section worked perfectly to stay in and chill out. Also she kindly upgraded us to a terrace room.   This is a lovely little place nestled atthe base of a mountain just outside tarifa and about 15 minutes walking to the beach through forest. We had just come back from tangiers and were desperate for some peace and quiet and there is plenty of that here!   Balenciaga Rooms exceed all our expectations. Spacious, clean, nicely designed, very well maintained. Excellent location, less than 5 min walk to ferry to Morocco and/or main square. We arrived after working hours and check out early. Thus, we did not meet any of staff in person. If we return to Tarifa, we will make sure to stay at the same place. - The simplicity of the stay, I didn;t think to check my emails and when we got there we couldn't get in, but a very quick phone call to the number on the door and the owner gave us the code and we were in. Room was lovely, simple but just enough for a short stay, a courtesy bottle of water and tea making facilities were much appreciated and we found the location perfect.

  We liked the overall design of this hostal. It was spotlessly clean and each member of staff from reception to cleaner provided good, friendly and helpful service. The hostal, although on a main thoroughfare of Tarifa, was quiet and relaxed inside. Parking was available and we were able to leave the car while in Tangier even after check out. There was nothing particularly outstanding about the room, but then we didn't spend much time in the room and it did suit our needs.

  The was cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied. The air-con worked well and the free wi-fi was most welcome. The location is good with regards to the town centre but looked a bit dodgy on arrival. However, it was safe and we had no problems and the nearby supermarket came in handy.   It's great to stay in a place where the owner/ operator takes pride in his rooms. We were on the top floor with a terrace next to us. Great for an afternoon drink looking over the town and ocean... bad when inconsiderate neighbours arrived home at 4am and continued their loud conversations 1m from our window.
