  great kitcsh Hotel very back to the 50s. Refurbed rooms are minimalist but nice. Very Clean. The lower floors and the reception/ bar and restaurant areas are totally 50s style which is fabulous in my view but not to everyone's taste.   We had a thoroughly pleasant stay at this hotel for 5 nights in February 09. We stayed with our 2 children in a 'B2' Apartment - we found the rooms (sitting room with sofa bed and kitchenette / separate bedroom / large bathroom) to be extremely comfortable and practical with nice decor. It was easy to get around the hotel with a buggy and it had great access and was very easy to find at the end of the esplanade with a great walk along the water front into the main town centre.

Nice SPA (basic set of saunas and pools included in the price for total of ~2hours) with extra options like different massage types and oxygen mask therapy. The staff was helpful and did speak English fairly well. Plenty of towels and in-room toiletries. Loved the roof-top bar (Juan was so friendly & accommodating.) Great view. Breakfasts were excellent.   very nice and helpful staff, excellently situated for the beach and restaurants,but in a quiet area, would definately stay at this hotel again. - Centrally located, pay parking available at the hotel, Lovely location to walk the old city. I would certainly go there again.
