  The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The hotel was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered lots of variety and was plentiful,healthy and great value.   The hotel is a beautiful, comfortable hotel and the staff very friendly. The location is superb, a short walk into the old town and great restaurants. Good shopping all around the hotel. It's an easy place to use as a base camp for day trips to the coast or other areas in the Costa Brava. We were directed to close by free parking - Actually didn't stay at the hotel due to technical problems but was booked in to a hotel round the corner (and had a junior suite!). Came back to Nord 1901 to use the pool and was offered a free drink. Staff at Nord 1901 are excellent, very friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel is also very close to the town centre (by foot) where there are some very good restaurants (I'd recommend Mimolet which has excellent 30 euro menu)

  All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, in particular Maja, who helped us when we needed to visit the local hospital. The room was lovely and the bed was huge! Everything we wanted to see in the old town was within walking distance. We had a very relaxing time walking around the narrow streets amongst the beautiful old build... 别人怎么说 » ings of Girona. There were plenty of different restaurants to eat in and we had some great food during our visit there. We really enjoyed our holiday - Everything! Location was unbeatable and contrary to many old town centres, the taxi could take us right to the door. The staff was helpful, all receptionists were like Concierges: they recommended sites, restaurants. The room had all the latest amenities and comforts but the bonus was beautiful decor in and out of room and wonderful smell everywhere. Will go back!

  Ibis Budget was extremely great! Close to city center, 10 minutes of walking distance. Helpful staff, especially Xavi! Really cheap and highly recommended! - Perfect place to stay in Girona.   Fantastic location and a great room. Even though we had a shared bathroom it was very clean and no queuing required. We had to leave at 4am so didn't make breakfast but the owner put a basket of fruit and muffins in our room which was really generous. He even moved his car so we could park close to the hotel. Breakfast was good,liked having the fried eggs, in addition to the other offerings.   Montjuic B&B is located high on a hillside in an area of expensive homes overlooking the new part of Girona. It's within walking distance of the old town, though the climb back up includes almost 300 stair-steps plus some steep paths. One small thing is, while we really enjoyed the breakfast, we felt it was slightly overpriced for what you get, however, it was so impressive that many of the jams, yogurts etc Carmen had made herself.
