  Stayed for two nights on the way home from Torroella de Montgri. We wanted to be close to the airport but also have a couple of days sightseeing in Barcelona. The staff were really helpful and courteous.   The location for our reason for being in Barcelona was excellent. We were there to attend a football match at the Camp Nou, which was only five tram stops from the hotel. We travelled into the centre of Barcelona by tram and metro this involved a change from tram to metro but all in the journey was about 25 minutes. It was a holiday and every else the price was jacked up but the IBIS wasn't so it was great value for the money. Had 2 rooms and they put us right across from each other which was great.

  This hotel was quite comfortable and clean. Seems quite energy efficient. No danger of leaving the air-conditioning on-it requires the presence of a room key and closed windows to work. Our room was small but modern and spotless. The bathroom was nice, very clean and modern. With free wifi and a few chiringitos to eat tapas and grab a beer the stay was great. I would only recommend a room away from the main street as spaniards are loud and stay up late. We were dead tired so we slept no problem.
