  We stayed in Salamanca Monday-Wednesday in late October. The hotel is well situated about 5-10 minutes walk from the rail station and a few minutes walk from the old town centre. A little noisy as it is on a main road. Hotel is all chandeliers, marble and glitter, not trendy, but very comfortable. The decor was beautiful and so different from the usual bland style of many hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was very impressive with a wide choice of fruit, cheese, meats, pastries etc. The hotel staff were also very pleasant and efficient.

  The staff was extremely helpfull. Even though there was a wedding party going on in the restaraunt, the food we ordered was spectacular and on time. They had no excuses.
