  We previously stayed at Casa Matilda for one night and liked Leo and Elena's hospitaliy so much that we returned for a three day stay this October (2013) with two of our friends. The house is gorgeous. Our room was more like a suite with a huge bathroom, living room with minifridge and large bedroom. So, we purchased a home meal prepared by Alana and served by Leo in their living room / breakfast room. Leo cheerfully carried all of our luggage up the steps. The room was a really a spacious suite and we had access to the roof garden, the previously mentioned living room, and the lobby. Leo and Alana made us feel like guests in their home.   Silvia and Gerrard, the owners, were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The enormous house and gardens with pool were very spacious and because they only let out 5 rooms or so, felt almost like having your own country house.   The house was built in 1651 but renovated very beautifully. The bed was good, and it was quiet. The hosts were very nice, the breakfast is very good, with a selection of local produce.
