  The area is very central and safe. The walks along the beach are good with plenty of bars and restaurants that give good value. The public transport is excellent.   The hotel is a bit old, but very well located and maintained. We were booked into 1 bedroom apartment, but were given a huge 2 bedroom apartment right at the sea front.   Very very good hotel and not expensive. We've lived in the improved room with balcony. It's rather good. Also we liked tasty food in the restaurant.
