  The location was excellent: close to "the strip", the beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel was not noisy. I liked the poolarea very much, if you are a young group you will get new friends by the pool. The rooms are not modern but acceptable.   Good location if you want to see Palma, but far from the sea, so you will need to take the bus, which is very easy as the bus system is great in Mallorca. The rooms are very clean with a very good AC in it. The breakfast is ok, but can be better choice of food for breakfast, at least eggs. The staf is very friendly.   We loved our stay at Hotel Miramar. Our Family Room represented excellent value for money: the children slept in a separate sleeping area that could be closed off from the very large main room with master bed, TV, sofa etc, so we could stay up later without keeping them awake. The room - Hotel Miramar is well situated towards the older part of Port de Soller and was very handy for the two small supermarkets just around the corner - very important for the budget conscious traveller! I had booked the cheapest possible room but was delighted to be given one with a sea view and balcony. The hotel is modern, well decorated, very clean and is managed by friendly staff.
