  The bungalows were spacious, clean and in a quiet setting a few hundred metres back from the main promenade of Puerto del Carmen. Self catering kitchenette was adequately equipped. This is an ideal destination if you want to avoid the typical hotels and nightlife associated with beach side developments. Jose has restored an old summerhouse to offer quirky, yet comfortable, accommodations on the outskirts of a sleepy village near the National Park. We rented a car and the coast was just a short drive away.

  We found the location ideal for us. Aparthotel Rubimar is a leasurely 20 to 25 minute walk away from the main port of Playa Blanca. The walk is along the seafront, like a prominard but not in a commercial looking way. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel, well worth a visit. The indoor pool is a nice 1.3 - Perfect location, with bars, supermarkets and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. Excellent room which faced the pool and got the sun all day, which was great to sit on after a day out walking or at the beach. Everything was perfect, especially as myself and my partner were self-catering, and kitchen provided us we everything we needed. Have already recommended the Rubimar to friends.
