  We had a great time in Santa Catalina. It was the most relaxing holidays we ever had. Santa Catalina / Hermigua is a great place if you dont need party and shopping all the time. The hosts has been very caring and nice. After a view days we felt like a welcome part of the small neighbourhood. There was a bar and a good restaurant right on the other side of the street and a lot of hiking -pos - We stayed in a comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and impeccably clean flat which had both a terrace and a patio. Good location near the sea and with supermarket and some restaurants/cafés within walking distance. Wonderful views, beautiful calm area! We found the nearby natural swimming pool to be a fantastic spot for days when the sea is not too wild. Both Playa Catalina and Agulo are reachable by moderate walks. This is a beautifully quiet oasis within the authentically Gomeran village of Agulo managed by Denis and Veren - If you are going to La Gomera you shall stay here! It's an old Spanish house which has been renovated and is rented now. There are five cutest apartments in it, and all needed stuff in each one. Also there are laundry, dryer. And sunny terrace in the roof with nice view. There were fresh mango, bananas and passion-fruits everyday in summer (for free), good wi-fi in the patio and silence for all day long. Owners are very hospitable and helpful. Thank you very much, Denis and Verena!
