  Casa Rural Los Helechos is a lovingly restored mid nineteenth-century Canarian courtyard house which is now divided into five well equipped studios. This is a beautifully quiet oasis within the authentically Gomeran village of Agulo managed by Denis and Veren - If you are going to La Gomera you shall stay here! It's an old Spanish house which has been renovated and is rented now. There are five cutest apartments in it, and all needed stuff in each one. Also there are laundry, dryer. And sunny terrace in the roof with nice view. There were fresh mango, bananas and passion-fruits everyday in summer (for free), good wi-fi in the patio and silence for all day long. Owners are very hospitable and helpful. Thank you very much, Denis and Verena!

  La Gomera is somehow a magic island and this hotel, located up the hill, surrounded by plants and flowers, with a lovely view and singing birds, fits perfectly in this picture. Just go and see yourself! - A cosy and nice little hotel in the nice and quiet area of La Calera. The room was big enough, very clean. The little balcony faced the banana plantage and the sea. Very good home made breakfast with delicious fruits and very good sorts of cheese and sausage.The owner Concha is such a wonderful and helpful person, as the whole staff is super friendly.

  All positive. I had a wonderful week at this lovely hotel. I was travelling alone but there were at least three obvious gay couples staying at the hotel. No one seemed phased at all. La Gomera is not especially a `gay`place to visit...but utterly gorgeous.   We had an apartment overlooking the garden - very peaceful but not much sun. Front apartments give more sunshine but are over the road which gives some noise. Bedroom, Lounge/kitchen area very spacious and clean.Big balcony (much bigger than those on the front). Reception staff very helpful and attentive. This is our second visit to the beautiful island of La Gomera - Clean rooms with a big balcony-ask for a room at the back as these are a bit quieter.Location was excellent-close to the bus station and walking distance from the ferry terminal.Hotel is in the town centre so attractions and bars and restaurants on your doorstep.
