  A great deal of thought and care has gone into the property. Immaculately presented. Homely and rustic feel. Very knowledgeable and attentive owner who is an ambassador for lcoal tourism. Also note that Corcubion is apparently the main source port for razor clams (Navajas) which we co - We especially appreciated the hotel's owner, who welcomed us warmly and personally, and, in spite of a language barrier, took the time to give us tons of great insight into the region. Thanks to his thoughtful suggestions, our daytrips from Corcubion were filled with amazing views, natural treasures, pristine and isolated beaches. The hotel itself is spotless, new, with beautiful views onto the bay and a gorgeous outdoor terrace perfect for sunny breakfasts or apéros.

All the rooms are decorated in different ways, and ours was painted a lovely dark red with a very comfortable bed set in the middle of the room.   When I first arrived I didn’t like the look of it because I thought I was in the middle of nowhere. But it is just a short walk from a great beach. And a 10 minute drive away from a massive beach. O’Grove was especially nice and the fish is to die for. The island of Toxa is worth a visit and you can go into the posh old Hotel for a coffee.
