  Montjuic B&B is located high on a hillside in an area of expensive homes overlooking the new part of Girona. It's within walking distance of the old town, though the climb back up includes almost 300 stair-steps plus some steep paths. Carmen was a wonderful host - extremely welcoming, passionate about what she does and helpful when giving tips on where to eat/what to do in Girona. She is obviously a big foodie like us. One small thing is, while we really enjoyed the breakfast, we felt it was slightly overpriced for what you get, however, it was so impressive that many of the jams, yogurts etc Carmen had made herself.   From the minute you enter the hotel you already feel something is different. Then, when you get to your room you understand how different it is. The lobby includes the front desk with staff that was always willing to help and give useful advice. We loved the Carrot cake! The standard room is divided into two separate ar - There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

It is a small, well designed boutique hotel, with the character of being within a very old building within the old town of Solsona. The rooms are large and comfortable, and our stay was very relaxing. Easy to explore old town. We ate at a nearby italian restaurant, as previously, as there are no dining options at hotel. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff warm and welcoming. Worth paying to use hotel garage, but only small so reserve in advance.

  A lovely boutique hotel with Spa Facilities, set in a small village. Very well appointed throughout. The hotel restaurant is located offsite but was well worth the visit, with lots of local country style food on offer. Breakfast was continental style but pleanty of freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits and pastries and excellent coffee.
