  Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money.   This hotel was great, especially considering the price. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Nerja with perfect access to beach, the balcon, the shops and the bus station.   Very friendly and accomodating proprietor. Perfect Ronda location for a family with young children. The kids loved the pool and the open air - a great respite from the city-based hotels. It was easy to find, right on the 9km turnoff before Ronda, there was plenty of space, including access to a large lounge area, and our hosts were brilliant, striking the perfect balance between privacy and attentiveness. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer - a great base from which to explore the white villages, Ronda, and even the coast.

  The staff in this family run pension is exceptionally nice and welcoming. Speaks english but will be very patient if you want to train your spanish! Rooms are basic, but really comfy and very clean, and the lovely terrasse is perfect to rest after a walk or the beach, to have a coffee and toast in the morning or a drink at night.
