We had a very comfortable and spacious room with a worldclass bed and there was more than enough room for the crib. Even though the weather was a bit cold and wet for March, we had a wonderful time because of the warm and cosy municipal rooms, long - Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend this casa rural to anyone searching for a special place to stay.

Carmen and Antonio are always there, when you need something and be sure that they give you well informed tips for excursions (Cordoba, Granada, - Great friendly staff/owners of the hotel. Fabulous surroundings Peace and quiet Nothing too much trouble for Carmen & Antonio Breakfast was first class, unfortunately we didn't sample an evening meal as we were travelling most days and ate out before returning to the Cortijo.   We stayed in Cortijo La Loma during one week in July. Adrian, the owner, came to pick us up at the bus stop in Pitres. He's very friendly and keen to help out in any way he could. The cortijo is really beautiful, the house was clean and everything is very well looked after.The pool is really big and good to swim in.   We loved the house, the breakfasts ,the birds feeding in the patio ,the kindness of the hosts.Parking was easy, on the street outside.Quiet, pleasant little town, which made a good base for visiting the coast and the mountains.We had an excellent stay - many thanks to our hosts.

  It was a really nice and calm place to stay. I arrived with my 5years-old daughter and we enjoyed it very much. The employees are very friendly and helpful.
