  This was our first and last stop on our first road trip in Spain on the GS. We stayed here for the first 4 days of our trip and decided to return for the last 2. The owner really goes the extra mile and could not be more friendly. We stayed here on the last night of a motorbike trip before getting the Santander ferry the next day. We were ushered in to park the bikes under cover. The guesthouse is set in beautiful grounds. It was easy enough to find just with simple directions taped to my tank. Barely 30mins ride/drive to the ferry. Despite very little English/Spanish being spoken we managed to chat about foot

  It was selected on the basis that it was on route to madrid The staff were excellent and very helpful both at reception and in the restaurant I would definatly use it again - Friendly staff and eager to help. Convenient location for Santander. Parking good. Quiet area even though near main road (we stayed at a weekend).

  Very nice outside seating area and a very spacious room with a good view of the countryside. Nice facilities and easy access to Suances by car. We got a good deal but would not have paid the full advertised price for the hotel.

  Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. It was also nice to have a breakfast buffet with coffee, juice, toast, muffins, etc. They cleaned my room every day, changed the towel, soap, etc. They also printed a map for me of my route to my school when I asked about getting there!

  Friendly, helpful Staff The town is very nice, not a tourist town and better for that. if you are looking for a stopover near Santander its great. Feed 4 adults and 5 kids with wine and beer and soft drinks for less than £60. we did in Torrelavega.
