Having stayed before,i was familiar with the barcarola,but was surprised there was no air conditioning and pool was very cold.i asked at reception about the pool but told it was due to the wind that it was cold.the first week it was too cold to use pool. perhaps when weather is breezy and cool it may be the time to heat it to a comfortable level. the pool was not used at any level the first week until late in the day.I - who love the pool only used it twice in the first week and three in second.
所有评语 » The location was excellent, we could not have had better. The grounds of the complex and pool area was very well kept and a nice environment to be in. The apartment was very comfortable, very clean with an excellent view of the sea. Overall the perfect place to stay. The location is excellent with great walks in either direction either to the old town and on to next village or right into Arreciefe on walking/cycling paths. Excellent pubs and restaurants nearby.Handy to have option of breakfast on site if so wished. These appartments are really nice and clean. We stay there on all our trips to Puerto Del Carmen since we found these appartments a few years ago. Good value for money and excellent food. Great location and close to all amenities. it was very clean and modern, staff very friendly, near to all facility yet a quiet relaxing spot, will certainly visit again. Also entertainment for kids great, couldn`t have done without, Thanks SAM!!!. The pool and grounds were lovely and the location excellent with several good restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and helpful from early in the morning til last thing at night. Barcarola was fantastic,very clean and the apartments were spotless,the grounds around the area were lovely,the pool bar was very well ran,overall fab place. Everything about our stay was brilliant.From the accomadation to the location and particulary the staff.Our stay could not have been improved. loved the location, cleanliness, quietness, felt like we were in the countryside with the trees and birds, all staff were fantastic. I liked the pool area, plenty of beds and umbrellas. The breakfast had a great selection and was very reasonable. The location was excellent. The staff were particularly helpful throughout. I liked the breakfast and kiddies club and security and the cleanliness. We liked the location of the lovely spacious / peaceful apartment's. Staff pleasant. Peaceful. Great location and quiet. regular cleaning of appt. site was clean and tidy. the staff are really lovely and very efficient. cleaning staff excellent. gardens very well kept and a nice feeling of security. very quiet apartments.nice to have a courtesy room on departure.beds comfortable and very clean. a good experience overall. There was nothing that we did not like. I thought the towels were very worn and should be replaced. The only small issue I would have is the WIFI Signal was very weak. first night some beds felt a bit damp. Apartment was dated and the beds uncomfortable and poor quality. Would have liked a double bed rather than 2 singles. Had to request adaptors to be able to use kitchen electrical items so not properly functioning for self catering. Nothing. could badly do with air com. There was no draught beer at the pool bar. There was no kettle. nothing. Nothing to dislike. No complaints. Pools were very cold. WiFi off at 9pm every night. Rooms very hot, could do with a fan as standard and none available to hire on first day. We had requested a sunny location as we are both over 80 and need the warmth. In fact Apt E4 received very little sun and was quiet cool at times. appt. was very cold not suited to cool weather. kitchen facilities were less than average for self catering. tv stations in english were nil except for news progs. pool loungers were very uncomfortable and no pool towels available(that we could find anyway). we were given no site info on arrival and had to go back and ask for it the balcony in our appt. had no sunlight as there was A large tree outside. the lighting in our 'lounge' was very poor for reading etc. appartment B4 was very noisy all night long ,werent informed of its location in relation to street front and nightclub next door nightly.n booking. no air conditioning/no kettle on arrival/ bedroom window latch broken, toaster brooken, could have complained but not that type persons. wont destroy reputation of complex / would go back perhaps next year as we love puerto del carmen, only at special rate . thank you. strong smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment got the unclean feeling.
