We came in the middle of night, having made a notify of it and we had no troubles of night check-in.
The staff is friendly and everything went excellent. The young girl speaks good English. You can go to a nearest cafe named Don Pepito for having a wonderful cafe con leche for breakfast. El Puig is a nice and calm place to stay after a long trip.

For the price we paid it would be churlish to complain about anything! The room was comfortable and clean with air con and plenty of hot water.
Reception staff did not speak English but with my tiny bit of poor Spanish and some good will we managed to communicate well.
