This was our third visit to the Cervantes, so you can see we like it! The staff, Fabio and his assistant, are very friendly, and you are at once on first name terms. The rooms are very small, so don't take too much luggage! They are comfortable and clean, and some are very quiet. There is a common seating area near the entrance which is very attractive and comfortable. The ancient lift, recently inspected for safety, is more efficient than many in large hotels! Above, all the location is excell.
所有评语 » The Cervantes hostel is very well situated, 10 minutes walk to the Atocha train station and 10 minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol. Staff and owner are very kind, smart people. Bed is very comfortable, claned rooms and bathrooms, which are inside the rooms. This was close to everything! About 2blocks from the Prado and 2 blocks from the metro. The staff is very nice and welcoming. It was also a pretty good value especially for the location. Alvaro was very helpful, and considerate. Hostal Cervantes is ideally located near all the places we wanted to see, much of it in walking distance. It was a lovely way to end my trip to Spain. Fabulous location, great bed, clean room. Thank you very much. Accommodating staff gave us an extra key when requested. We had our own bathroom which is always a plus. Wonderful location near city center, convenient to major art museums. Excellent restaurants all around. Location is perfect. 15 minutes walking from Sol or Callao metro stations. Location, location, location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good location and fair price for its type of room. Friendly service, clean room. Best value for money!. Location (~200m. Prada; near to subway, taxi station, bars, etc). it was in the middle of a nice part of Madrid. Nothing. It is not a place for luxury fiends, but a great place to enjoy Madrid. During siesta time hostel was full of people moving around so a bit noisy from people taking showers and using toilets, but because of the building itself is very old so no complains about it. The bathroom was long and very narrow. It worked, just not my favorite. You can also hear doors opening and closing and the elevator. Although this only bothered me on the first night of our stay. The toilet and the bidet were leaking loud enough to disturb our sleep. Tiny lift; but this is standard in many hotels. One short flight of stairs is difficult with heavy bags. You could tell when your neighbors used the plumbing. no kitchen, pantry available.breakfast has to be taken at the bar outside the hotel. Noisy plumbing. A bit noisy. Its really noisy there. the bathroom was horrible. much to small. It was difficult to sit on the toilet.
