  Absolutely loved the Casa de Madrid- easily one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, nothing was too much trouble, really genuinely lovely people taking great care to make our holiday as good and memorable as it could be. There is a great pride in the owner and the people who work there of the traditional and beautiful bui - It's not a hotel in conventional way. I like the ambience and all the elegant deco with a home style. Quite and lots of privacy in good location like this is really extrodinary. Very friendly staff provided good help on the train schedule and wifi in short/late time. We met the hostress when leaving at the door and she was a nice lady! Unique experience and strongly recommend to those people interested in culture.

  The staff were so friendly, particularly Anna. We didn't realise it was more of a backpackers' hostel than a hotel, but as it was only two nights, it didn't matter. Anna was very helpful and the hostel's location could not be bettered. - good room, friendly staff, localization.

  Location was great - just around the corner from Opera Metro station. Very, very clean and beds comfortable. We had a room at the back to no traffic noise at all. Staff friendly but only Spanish spoken. Felt very safe and secure so great for single travellers.   Good location near the Palaces, Opera and Plaza Mayor but on a quietish side street. Good sized pleasant room. Worth going to for the amazing breakfast selection alone. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely perfect location if you want to do sigh seeings. Close to variouse restaurants and pub.
