The location is superb - right next to the most popular street La Rambla, but yet our street was quiet and didn´t hear any street noise at all.

Hesperia is a great hotel to stay in if you want to fall out of bed into the bustle of Barcelona life. It is perfectly located for the fabulous Bouqueria Market, shopping, tapas and bars. Staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Speaks very good English. The lockers are in the room. And the very good thing that the bathrooms are in the rooms. The location is right at la ramblas, just 2 minutes away.

that said that the hostel was difficult to find, but we had no problem

The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably
