  Good bedrooms in a quite peaceful area of Madrid. They firstly gave us a smoking room but I had no problem at all to change it to a non-smoking room. Considering that the city center is very noisy, this hotel is in a very nice area, only 10 minutes walking from the tube station (Suanzes).   This hotel is excellent for location and comfort at a very reasonable price. We were able to park free of charge outside the hotel and used the Metro, which is 5 mins walk from the hotel, to travel into the centre of Madrid in 20 mins.   Very helpful and attentive staff. Rooms are amazing, so modern! Very quiet, beds are super comfortable. Shuttle to airport took less than 10 minutes, very convenient. Only 10 mins to the city. - Although outside of the centre the location is perfect for both business and leisure thanks to the near metro. Facilities are great and rooms are spaceful.

  We liked the design of the rooms and its cleanliness, the late night cafe and the buffet breakfast service. Check-in service was very efficient and staff very helpfull. - The apartment was great.   A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time. We stayed there our 1st night in Madrid and booked it again for our last 2 nights in Madrid. Our son stayed our late one night and it's about a 20 euro taxi ride from downtown Madrid to the hotel.

  Last summer I stayed for the first time at Axor Barajas both for business (The University of Arizona, USA) and pleasure (Family European vacation) I can't say enough of the quality for the price.....it is a bargain. We must have been upgraded, because our soom was huge. We had a whole studio with a sleek bathroom.The shuttle was excellent. We used it from the airport after dropping off our rental car and then the next morning back to the airport for our flight.
