  The vibe of the place was really good when I was there; people were very friendly and it was easy for someone travelling alone (like me) to make friends.   We liked almost everything at the hotel. Its location couldn't be better, right behind the metro exit and you can watch Sagrada Familia at breakfast time or whenever ou go up the terrace. Receptionists and waiters, everybody was very helpful. Room was very large and clean and modern. Hotel is very new with a minimalist design. They went out of our way to fix any issues with the room, answer our many questions, mail our postcards, tell us about the culture of the city, etc. They packed a breakfast bag for my wife and I in the early morning when we left since we could not stay for breakfast. We were still talking about how friendly the staff was when we got home. This is the best customer service we've had amongst all the places we've visited in the mediterranean.   La Flor de Gaudi is the best hostel I´ve ever been! Everything is very clean; showers, rooms, sheets, beds ... The couple that runs the hostel is so kind and take care of every guest! The localization is awesome, just 3 minuts of Parc Güell and 15 minutes walking to the majority of Gaudi monuments.
