  Great location around the corner from metro. Our room was not reay at 14.00, so they upgraded us to a fantastic suite. Friendly and helpful staff, really good breakfast.   The hotel is situated just 5 minutes from the beach and the metro. The stop of Bus Turistic is just on the next street. There are many small food shops not far from the hotel. The view from the windows is great (even if you live on the 3rd floor). The stuff was great! Very helpful! The proximity to the city was a feature of hotel and the swimming pool was a - The location of the hotel was perfect , it is few minutes walk from the city center and the bus tour. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.

  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. The hotel itself is beautiful and kept up. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants.
