  This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions.   The apartment was lovely. Nice little balconies overlooking a park. Plenty of space. We were very happy to have the kitchen facilities, and the price was the same as a regular hotel. The location was wonderful, just a couple of blocks north of the University.   I stayed at the hotel for a conference in Barcelona, and I was very happy with my stay. The room wasn't huge, but it had a king-size bed. Everything was kept immaculately clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The area that the hotel is in is more of a residential/shopping area of Barcelona, which I liked, as it - Everything! Very nice small hotel almost in the centre of Barcelona, within one metro stop from the Sants railway station. White foyer, bright- green corridor, cosy rooms - each about one of the Barcelona places of interest. Ours was called 'Parc Guel'. The window looks out on the quiet yard. We arrived late, something after midnight. The stuff was waiting and opened at once. Buffet breakfast gotta be booked in the evening before, it's quite rich - with hamon, eggs, pastries and coffee.
