  Very nice hotel, very clean adn modern. Rooms were nicely decorated. There is restaurant/bar in the hotel which was very convinient as the day we arrived was pouring down with rain so,we spent our time indoors.Very good breakfast buffet.   The hotel is a beautiful, comfortable hotel and the staff very friendly. The location is superb, a short walk into the old town and great restaurants. Good shopping all around the hotel. It's an easy place to use as a base camp for day trips to the coast or other areas in the Costa Brava. We were directed to close by free parking - Actually didn't stay at the hotel due to technical problems but was booked in to a hotel round the corner (and had a junior suite!). Came back to Nord 1901 to use the pool and was offered a free drink. Staff at Nord 1901 are excellent, very friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel is also very close to the town centre (by foot) where there are some very good restaurants (I'd recommend Mimolet which has excellent 30 euro menu)

  The hotel is situated just across the river from the old town, and close to monuments, cultural facilities and shops. We were waiting for a package to be delivered and the hotel staff couldn't do enough to make sure it arrived safely even offered to call the delivery company, without us even asking them for help. We were very impressed with them. The restaurant attached was very nice and really reasonably priced, we ate there both nights of our stay.

  The hotel staff were outstanding--very warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make our stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible. They also gave us useful advice on what to see in Girona (which actually has a lot to offer!). The hotel is centrally located and is only a 3-minute walk from the train and bus stations. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a 1- or 2-night s - Hotel Europa is a very nice, budget hotel in Girona. It is a couple of blocks from the train station, and within 15 minutes walking distance of the major tourist destinations in Girona. The thing I liked best about Hotel Europa was the gentlemen at the desk. They were very helpful with a rental car issue I had. I would have been lost without their help.
